If you are using both Sales & Marketing and Customer Service you might want to look closer at this post.
In SuperOffice Analyze one of the most central parameters is Organization. It is based on the tables associate, usergroup, usergrouplink and person. It is displayed in an hierarchical fashion and looks likes this:
In Customer Service the corresponding parameter is CS User. It is based on the hierarchy and ejuser tables. It is also displayed in an hierachical fashion and looks like this:
If you decide you want to use the Organization parameter for filtering in both SuperOffice Analyze and SuperOffice Analyze for Customer Service, read on...
First we need to modify the dCS Service details data table. Go to System Administratioin ->Analysis Dashboard -> Data Central and select the dCS Service details data table. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Add the highlighted lines shown below.
The lines you need to add (in yellow) can be copied from here:
,a.group_idx as [UsergroupId(Persons)] join =dv(dbowner);.associate a with (nolock) on a.ejuserId = ejuser_owner.id -- associate: used to implement filtering via S&M Users =param("id":"51724bbe-68e6-4cb2-9690-4364ed18adde", "colref":"a.associate_id","output":"Total", "compIdx":"1"); -- Org: asc
Click the column tab, and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click the parameter button on the right as illustrated:
It can be confusing to have both Organization and CS User parameters, so you might want to remove CS User parameter (green line).
Click the Verify Query button, check the Update dashboards checkbox and click save.
Log out, and in. Your're done!
