Organizations

In many cases it may be desirable to set up the company’s organisational structure. This structure is actively used in the scorecard module and in the distribution engine in connection with comments from distributions.

Organisational unit

Adding an organisational unit

  1. In the administration menu, select “Organisation” and then “Administer”.
  2. Open the “Organisation” menu and click “Add”.
  3. Enter name and description.
  4. Select the primary organisation. This is the organisational unit that the new organisation will belong to.
  5. Select a manager for the unit.
  6. Select organisation type. You can administer these types yourself.
  7. Select active, if you would like this unit to be activated. You can later deactivate the unit by unchecking this point. It will not be possible to use inactive units in the scorecard module.
  8. Click “Register” to register the unit.

 

Changing an organisational unit

  1. In the administration menu, select “Organisation” and then “Administer”.
  2. Open the “Organisation” menu and click on the desired organisational unit.
  3. Make changes
  4. Click “Register”.

 

Deleting an organisational unit

  1. Open the organisation editing form.
  2. Click “Delete”.

 

Organisational type

Add an organisational type

  1. In the administration menu, select “Organisation” and then “Administer”.
  2. Open the “Org. type” menu and click “Add”.
  3. Enter the name of the organisational type you would like to create.
  4. Enter a description of the organisational type.
  5. Click “Register” to register the organisational type.

 

Changing an organisational type

  1. In the administration menu, select “Organisation” and then “Administer”.
  2. Open the “Org. type” menu and click on the desired organisational type.
  3. Make changes, as specified in point 4.6.2.1, steps 4-6.
  4. Click “Register”.

 

Deleting an organisational type

Open the organisational type editing form. Click “Delete”.
