=remotecolfilter() function

The =remotecolfilter(); Scripting Engine function is a function that is used on drill-down levels only and parses column filter from above level in the drill-level

Properties

COLUMNNAME string [REQUIRED]

The remote column name to get the value from. This must be a valid column with filters.

Auto column filters will be the grouped column.

Other filters could be manually set.

Examples

=remocolfilter([COLNAME]); It is important that you use brackets around the columname.

If you have a table with drill-down and match for a column with name DISP where filter is set to '100'.

Here is the SQL before parsing:

select * from bilagsinfo
where
bilagstext like '%=remotecolfilter([DISP]);%'
 
After parsing the SQL will be like this:

select * from bilagsinfo
where
bilagstext like '%100%'
 
You could also use this in procedure calls like this:

exec myProc @val=’=remotecolfilter([DISP]);’

which will be:

exec myProc @val=’100’
