Accessing Xledger Data in Business Analyze

To enable Business Analyze to fetch and visualize data from your Xledger environment, we require access through the Xledger API. Below is a summary of what needs to be done on your end:

1. Generate and Share API Token

You’ll need to create an API user in Xledger and generate an API token. This token will allow Business Analyze to access your data securely. The user should be granted read-only access to the necessary endpoints listed below.

2. Required API Endpoints

Please ensure that the API token has read access to the following endpoints:

• account/accounts

• apTransaction/apTransactions

• systemSetupDefinition/systemSetupDefinitions

• Viewer

• periodStatusItem/periodStatusItems

• exchangeRate/exchangeRates

• currencie/currencies

• employeeGroup/employeeGroups

• employee/employees

• supplier/suppliers

• transaction/transactions

• entity/entities

These endpoints provide the foundational data required for reporting and analysis in Business Analyze.

3. Provide the Following Information

Once the API setup is complete, please send us:

• The generated API token (shared securely) For example by zipping the file with password lock. send the zip and password separately.

• Confirmation that the required endpoints are accessible
